What are we looking for?
Linking and learning is at the heart of Voice. We aim to boost the collaboration, connectedness, sharing, listening, learning, creativity, innovation, and application of new knowledge amongst Voice grantees as well as with the wider community. We hope that this process produces evidence and innovative solutions to catalyse transformative changes in the lives of the rightsholders groups concerned.
The Voice Linking & Learning community has flourished over the last three years. Various connections have developed within and across countries, learning exchanges have transpired, and the journey of creating a more inclusive tapestry of intersecting initiatives continues.
For the multi-country and across Voice linking and learning we are seeking two or more dynamic learning organisations for the following two components:
Component A: Multi-Country Linking and Learning facilitation
The successful applicant will facilitate the linking and learning connection between the organisations receiving a multi-country grant from Voice. This includes consultations with grantees and rightsholders to organise sharing and learning based on their agenda and interests as well as co-creating an empowering capacity strengthening approach.
They will promote the participation of members from the Voice rightsholder groups, and facilitate the emergence of communities of practice around issues and challenges that concern them. They will facilitate online and face-to-face gatherings and/ or groups that support inclusive collaboration. They will organise events and meetings, develop thought-provoking pieces, and produce creative works in order to document the learning and amplify the grantees’ voices.
Period: 24 months, January 2022 – December 2023 Budget: € 350.000
Component B: Leading the writing of a 5-year Learning document, Voice impact stories and voices of change
Voice, is in the process of closing the first phase grantee projects covering a total of 400 grantee projects. As part of the closure process, Voice aims to produce an impact story for each grantee. Most significant stories for learning and amplification purposes will be collated as part of the documentation process.
Furthermore, the programme wants to document the 5 year learning across Voice. To document the programme’s journey, identify trends and patterns and describe social changes or shifts grantees and rightsholders have contributed to.
Under this component B, Voice seeks to grant an organisation to co-create and (co) write a learning document after five years, as well as to produce and edit grantee impact stories and voices of change.
Period: September 2021 – March 2022 Maximum budget: 50,000 Euro
More details on each of the components can be found in the Terms of Reference for this Call.
Organisations managed by one of the rightsholder groups listed below are strongly encouraged to apply. We are also open to applications from a consortium of organisations.

- People with disabilities;
- Lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex (LGBTI) people;
- Women facing exploitation, abuse, and/or violence;
