Is your organisation adept at facilitating dynamic learning experiences with diverse groups of people? Do you have deep and extensive experience working with civil society groups across Africa and Asia? Do you practice participatory, creative, and transformative approaches to Leave No One Behind? Are you driven by the principle of Nothing About Us Without Us? And, most importantly, do you promote inclusive innovation to catalyse transformative change for the most marginalised and discriminated groups?
If you and your organisation said yes to any of the questions above, Voice is looking for you!
What are we looking for?
We are seeking a platform to launch the first edition of its inclusive innovation award in the last quarter of 2018. Therefore, Voice is looking to award an Innovate and Learn grant spanning minimum 12 months and maximum 24 months with a maximum budget of €200,000.
In general, Voice supports the following target groups:
- People with disabilities
- Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transsexual and Intersex People
- Women facing exploitation, abuse, and/or violence
- Age-discriminated groups (seniors and youth)
- Indigenous people and ethnic minorities
The successful (network) organisation will support Voice to:
- Identify and bring together 20 organisations or initiatives of the most marginalised and discriminated people from ODA countries in Asia and Africa who implement amazing inclusive innovations to their empowerment or influencing practice;
- Organise and facilitate a special programme for these selected organisations and movements in the Netherlands;
- Honour an award. Linking it to an existing (innovation) event is a great advantage;
- Manage the contractual elements of this grant.
Celebrating Inclusion’s key responsibility is to bring Southern voices to the Netherlands and honour an Award to voices too often relegated to the margins, telling untold stories, and empowering the public with the correct perspectives.
Who do we wish to fund?
For this Call for Proposals, applications are only being accepted from organisations registered and based in the Netherlands. The organisation and its members should have extensive work experience and networks in Africa and Asia, in at least half of the ten Voice focus countries.
From the numerous applications received the following grantees have been successful as part of this Call for Proposals. If you like to join Voice please see the current list of open Calls for ProposalsMulti-CountryBrighten Vietnamese Sign Language
