The consortium “Femmes et TIC” and the web TV “KUNAFONI” are two non-profit organisations that both work for a better recognition of the rights of women and young people, particularly those who face marginalisation, persons with disabilities, victim of abuse, discrimination and/or violence. The expertise of “Femmes et TIC” is the art of conveying information and/or learning lessons in an attractive and innovative way while facilitating access to the targets, hence the interest in facilitating the link and learning. Femmes et tic has innovative and latest generation interactive and collaborative solutions that can be adapted to the realities of Mali and facilitate meetings and ensure better feedback and evaluation of projects. The Association “Femmes et TIC” is specialised in the production of digital content and paper works (books, newspapers, leaflets, etc.) through the use of ICTs to promote a better understanding and accessibility of information, especially sensitive information. “KUNAFONI.COM is a social enterprise that works in the field of human rights through events, information and awareness-raising in the media. It stands out from other actors through its innovative activities such as the rapped debate, the “Kunafoni Show Time” and wide media coverage in the press (print, radio, TV and online).

Project
The Femmes et Tic and Kunafoni consortium is the facilitator of Linking and Learning of Voice in Mali. The project will stimulate collaboration, listening, learning, documentation, innovation and the application of new knowledge among rightsholders and more broadly with communities and stakeholders. The objective of the Linking and Learning project component is to amplify the voices of the many rightsholders in an innovative and inclusive way through capacity strengthening, lobbying, awareness raising, empowerment, advocacy, whistleblowing, among others; but also sharing through documentation and Linking and Learning. The consortium has put rightsholder groups at the heart of the implementation of Voice activities and will facilitate the development of communities of practice around the issues and challenges that concern them. They are developing a platform to promote inclusive collaboration, including for communities in other regions of Mali. The consortium is organising innovative events and meetings to amplify the voices of rights holders at local, regional, national and international levels, supported by the production of shareable documents and visuals to deepen learning. Key activities include the organisation of the Handicapable Festival (1st and 2nd edition), the organisation of Kunafoni Show-time, the organisation of Communities of Practice and Stakeholders, the production and online dissemination of 6 rapped debates, the organisation of Five Dial-in Conferencing, the production of two drawing documents advocating the position of VOICE grant partner groups and many other inclusive activities.
