Je, unafanya au ungependa   kufanya kazi katika maeneo yafuatayo; masuala ya blogu, redio au luninga mtandaoni, mitandao ya kijamii,  umejisajili ili kupata au kuhodhi huduma za maudhui mtandaoni au unatoa huduma za  mtandao? Je, una wasiwasi kuhusiana na sheria na kanuni mpya ambazo zina vifungu vinavyokandamiza uhuru wa kujieleza nchini Tanzania ( Sheria ya Mawasiliano ya Kielektroniki na  Posta (EPOCA)  2018, Sheria ya Makosa ya Mtandaoni ( Cybercrimes Act 2015), Sheria ya Huduma za Vyombo vya Habari ( Media Services Act 2016), Muswada wa Kulinda Takwimu)?  Je, sheria na kanuni hizi zinaliathiri moja kwa moja kundi moja  au zaidi  ya moja ambalo linalengwa na Voice ? Je kuna  fursa ya  pamoja kitaifa ya kufanya utetezi wa kimkakati au kufungua kesi mahakamani, kufanya mgomo nje ya mtandao, au kuratibu hatua za pamoja, ambazo zitaleta mabadiliko katika maamuzi ya kisheria, sera/sheria, au kubadili mitizamo na mwenendo wa umma?

Kama jibu la maswali hapo juu ni Ndiyo, tuma maombi ya kuomba Ruzuku ya Dharura ili kukuza haki ya uhuru wa kujieleza na kupambana na utamaduni wa kudhibiti maoni ya wengine!

Ruzuku hii ipo na inaanzia Euro 5,000 hadi Euro 200,000 kwa ajili ya utetezi utakaodumu kati ya miezi 6 na 12.

Je tungependa kufadhili nini?

Juhudi za pamoja ambazo zinaweza kuleta matokeo kwenye kundi lengwa moja au zaidi la Voice.

• Wanawake wanaokabiliwa na unyonyaji, unyanyasaji na/au ukatili
• Watu wenye ulemavu
• Wanaobaguliwa sababu ya umri ( Vijana na Wazee)
• Watu kutoka kwenye makabila madogo yenye watu wachache

Voice inapendelea zaidi miradi inayotarajiwa kufanya kazi na zaidi ya kundi lengwa moja ili kukabiliana na changamoto zinazo wakuta watu walio katika mazingira hatarishi.

Mradi wako unaweza kujikita katika moja ya maeneo au maeneo yote yenye dhima zifuatazo:

• Kuboreka kwa ufikiaji wa rasilimali za uzalishaji ( fedha, ardhi na maji) na ajira.
• Maboresho ya upatikanaji wa huduma za kijamii, hususan afya na elimu, na
• Nafasi ya ushiriki katika siasa

Ni nani ambaye tungependa kumfadhili?

Maombi yatakayokubaliwa ni yale yatakayo husisha muungano, mtandao, mashirika au kikundi cha asasi  zinazoshiriki kwenye masuala ya utetezi wa haki za binadamu, waandishi, wanablogu, mashirika yasiyo ya kiserikali na  watu binafsi au wasomi ambao kwa ujumla wao au kwa pamoja wangependa kukuza na kulinda haki za kiraia na kisiasa za makundi lengwa ya Voice.

Do you work and/or have an interest in the following sectors; blogging, online radio/TV, social media, subscribers of online content and online content hosts or operating internet cafes? Are you concerned about the new laws that have disabling and restrictive provisions that directly impacts the ability of citizens to exercise their freedom of expression in Tanzania (The Electronic and Postal Communications 2018, 2015 Cybercrimes Act, Media Services Act 2016, data protection bill)? Do these rules directly impact one or more Voice target groups? Is there a national opportunity for strategic advocacy or litigation, offline protests, or coordination of collective action that can lead to change in legal decision, policy/laws, or shift in public attitudes and practices?

If you answer yes to the questions above, apply for a Sudden Opportunity Grant to promote the right to freedom of expression and fight cultures of self-censorship!

This grant is available from Euro 5,000 to Euro 200,000 for an intervention that will last between 6 and 12 months.

What do we wish to fund?

Collective action that will impact at least one or more of the Voice target groups;

• Women facing exploitation, abuse and/or violence,
• People with Disabilities,
• Age discriminated (youth and elderly),
• Indigenous People and Ethnic Minorities.

Voice has a strong preference for projects that intend to work with more than one target group to address overlapping vulnerabilities.

Your project can look at any or all of the following themes:

• Improved access to (productive) resources (finance, land and water) and employment,
• Improved access to social services, health and education in particular, and
• Space for political participation

Who do we wish to fund?

Applications are being accepted from a coalition, network or consortia with participation of human rights defenders, journalists, bloggers, NGOs and self-interested individuals or intellectuals who jointly and collectively seek the promotion and protection of civil and political rights of Voice target groups.
