Project
AMPA is a non-political, non-profit humanitarian association, created under the receipt N° 0466/G-DB of June 04, 2015, in accordance with the provisions of the law N° 04-038 of August 05, 2004 relating to the organization and functioning of Associations in the Republic of Mali.
The vision of AMPA is to protect people with albinism while enabling them to fulfill their duties and fully enjoy their rights in a fair and inclusive environment like other Malian or African citizens.
The mission is to defend the rights of people with albinism by providing them with the means and tools to integrate socially and professionally.
Equilibrons pour un Mali plus inclusif is an advocacy project for the application of law 052 on gender.
It will allow the revision of the decree of application of the said law in favor of the inclusion of women with disabilities through the establishment of a specific quota of 5% in the quota of 30% in elective and nominative positions. It will promote the participation of young people and women living with disabilities in the management of public and political life.
The change envisaged is to strengthen the leadership of women with disabilities beneficiaries and contribute to the consideration of their appointment to decision-making positions at the communal, regional and national level as well as their full participation in elections to elect and be elected.
The solutions that we will propose are:-Realize digital media campaigns with influential activists,-Strengthen the capacities of “women with disabilities leaders on all aspects of civic and political life with particular emphasis on leadership and self-confidence,-Realize advocacy actions using innovative approaches to obtain a quota of 5% for women with disabilities in the nominative and elective positions,-Coach and monitor beneficiaries
