Project
The project Re-integration of out-of-school girls in Torodi and Kollo consists of creating economic units to process agricultural products to benefit of 30 out-of-school girls from the communes of Kollo and Torodi. The girls have already benefited from an apprenticeship training programme on agri-food processing (manufacturing of dagué of millet, cereal couscous, milk / yoghurt processing, fruit juice and biscuits) with the support of the Support Fund for Continuing Professional Training and Learning.
These apprenticeship training courses received by the girls were carried out by GIE-EMPRISE with the financial and technical support of the FAFPCA from September 2015 to January 2016. Thus this project enables young girls to make themselves more useful in society through job creation by installing and managing economic production units and sale of agri-food products. The girls who have already formed a cooperative operate these processing units for agricultural products. The main activities of the project are the manufacture of processing workshop units, the acquisition of equipment and materials processing products, training and research of new processing techniques and the organisational and technical management of these processing units.
