  • Organisation

The Nigerien Federation of Disabled People (Federation Nigerienne des Personnees Handicapees or FNPH) is an umbrella network made up of seventeen disability organisations. The network seeks:

    • To champion the fight against disability and its effects through screening, prevention, rehabilitation, employment, etc.

    • To search and improve the moral and civic welfare of people with disabilities, regardless of the benefit of social laws by creating institutions likely to contribute to the achievement of the objectives.

    • To educate and train people with disabilities.

The goals set by the federation are vital for the protection and promotion of people with disabilities and the means it must implement must be rationally managed to allow maximum results with the minimum input, hence the need to combat the misuse of financial resources.
