Association YEREYE was registered on September 13, 1994. The Organisation strengthens the capacity of women based on technical, financial, institutional, and moral needs.

The main objectives of the Organisation include:

• Maintain relation of cooperation, consultation, friendship and solidarity with all persons likely to support its action among other women’s associations, NGOs.
• Promote the reintegration of women also train them in income-generating activities.
• Increase the capacity of women to improve their living conditions in general.
• Support and participate in all initiatives that promote the economic, social and cultural development of women.
• Sensitise women on major problems like family planning, excision, pre-school education, sanitation and hygiene, maternal, child health.

Preventing child marriage project is an initiative that combines the fight against FGM / GBV including early and or forced marriage. The project promotes the quality of information, actions in favor of abandoning the practice of early marriage and increases the chances of maintaining girls at school.
