Project
Faith and Inclusive Leadership (FIL) project aims to address gender inequality issues for women and women with disabilities in the community and promote social inclusion through inclusive leadership in Monduli District. Furthermore, the project intends to increase the participation of young women and women with disabilities in various leadership positions and build self-confidence among young women and women with disabilities. Also, the project will create art space with a theatre hall and open space facilities for conducting both faith and feminism discourses and facilitate video recording for amplification of marginalised, underrepresented young women and women with disabilities.
This project will support the organisation to reduce the gap between men and women in leadership positions and ensure that women and women with disabilities have been able to context in religious as well as leadership in political and community engagement from grassroots to national level. The activities that will be implemented in this project include capacity-building among young women and women with disabilities on inclusive leadership and good governance, creating and organising a series of platforms involving religion, local government leaders, and political leaders, organise and carry out a series of drama, videos documentary, and theatre performance, on faith feminism and involvement of young women and women with disabilities in inclusive leadership positions.
