Destined Women is local not for profit, non-religious and nonpartisan community-based Organisation duly registered in June 2014 to operate in Acholi Subregion. The Organisation was founded by 8 women in 2015, to help, advocate for women’s attainment of their destiny. As a result of concerns as mothers, the group met and drew on strategies to address the plight of child mothers.
Destined Women advances women empowerment through information sharing and maximising resources to support the interest and rights of their target group to reach their final destiny.
The Organisation implements a family planning project in a bid to curb down domestic violence amongst couples and also trains women on how to save and manage saving schemes.

The Empowering young mothers’ project seeks to transform the socio-economic life of the Young Mothers through Education and Information, life skill training and material support in order for the child mothers to participate in making decisions of their life while defining their destiny.
At the end of the project, the Organisation strives to have contributed towards changing the socioeconomic status of Child Mothers.
