    CASE is the non-profit organisation in Laos, which established since 2015 with their vision is to Better living condition of community on the poverty reduction with green approach and sustainable. Also the main goals of organisation is to 1. The food, nutrition and income generation aim to encourage villagers to have nutrition food at all seasons and earn more income;
    2. Natural resources: To promote management, protection and sustainable use of natural resources.
    3. Environment: In order to encourage the use less of chemicals, waste has an environmental impact
    4. Organizational Development: To enhance the capacity of APEDC to implement effectiveness and efficiency to fulfil its mission. These vision and goals are to help those rightsholder which including with
    Youth, Children, women, Disadvantaged people, Disabled with people in Laos.
    on the other hand CASE is former APEDC APECD is one of Civil Society Organization (CSO), locate in Xeingkhuang (XK) province, Lao PDR and established since 2015 based on provincial governor agreement letter issued no. 478/XK. The goal of APECD is to provide the social services especially preservation of natural resources, environment, and community development within Xiengkhuang province with total 23 members including 5 board members, 5 staff member, and 2 volunteers.

    • Project

      The Promoting community to Participation in Village Forest Management Project in Xiengkhouang Province, which anticipates the following results:
      Changes in person:
      The group of ethnic women who participated in the project will gained more knowledge and skill about village forest management and were courageous, outspoken, and community leaders, ethnic women will have the self-confidence to lead ethnic women groups among village and project activities and to mobilize women to participate in project activities, as well as to write action plans, reports and community activities.
      The CASE staffs will be able to encourage ethnic women in activities including coordination with partners, planning, implementation, reporting, monitoring and evaluation.
      At the internal of CASE:
      CASE Encourage multi-stakeholder to participation in community development. Therefore, the implementation of the project will enable the CASE to have ethnic staff with the knowledge and ability to represent the organization in participating in projects at both the local and central levels. In addition to the organization, there will be leaders who carry out ethnic activities and aim to share lessons with other organizations
      Ethnic Group:
      Indigenous women have improved, for example, as community leaders, facilitators, project implementers, and able to disseminate knowledge and understanding to ethnic women through peer-to-peer
      External change:
      Ethnic women are courageous and involved in protecting the village forest and enriching the environment. At the same time, there is a process of sharing lessons of the community of learning and making leaders in the community.
      In addition, forest areas are increasing as a result of forest conservation, including forest resources as a source of food and nutrition.
      We will not decide or implement to carry out any activities, programs or policies without the direct involvement of the members of the stakeholder group, they will be involved all term of the project period and being the ownership with all activity related. Therefore, the implementation of a project, activity or policy requires to let the participation understand and welling to implement as their own asset of those affected by the activities. Therefore, CASE considers ethnic women groups as important key factor in identifying activities and planning, as well as conducting activities so that they can be involved in the process from the planning, implementation and mutual benefit.
