Started in 2018, BMCDA is a network of individuals working in and across Kayunga district started with the aim of empowering communities in all spheres of life. BMCDA is primarily focused on working with communities to identify their potential and develop capacities to take full charge of their destiny with minimum harm to their surroundings, for enjoyment ofpresent and future benefits. Disadvantaged members of the communities are spread across the rural-urban divide and ourorganisation strives to work with them wherever they are, to buildtheir coping mechanisms and their capacities for better lives.

This project intends tofacilitate the process of raising Baruuli-Banyala youths’ access to land as a tool of agriculture production and access to water for agriculture production through the use of small-scale irrigation technologies to facilitate their engagement in offseason productionof horticultural enterprises as sources of incomes.
