This project aims to strengthen activities for freedom in the gender, political and feminism discourse through art and music by exploring common or peculiar experiences that not only illustrate diversity in culture but also shared humanity principles. By showcasing the uniqueness and shared similarities of different ethnicities and faith, this project will enhance cohesion forming a suitable platform for reducing post election violence associated with the differences in the enjoyment of the freedom of civic participation. The competitions will be conducted in existing government facilities where a human rights speaker will create awareness and sensitize attendees on the enjoyment and limitations of freedoms and rights. There will also be the production of creative audio-visual content in the form of recorded music and other formats that will be shared on digital platforms. The right-holders in the Competitions from the Sub-county level will receive technical assistance and facilitation by IRC on how to stream their work on social media as a way of increasing collaboration between the creative outfits and the civic society. The winners at county level will undergo a one month training to fine-tune their production technically, patent and register with monetized channels to generate revenue as they provide edutainment.
