BISU is a Community Based Organisation for persons with disabilities specifically those with brain injury which begun in 2018 and officially registered in 2011 with key operations in Kayunga District. The spirit of start of the organization was ignited by a parent in the area who had a child with brain injury, and through the several efforts of seeking habilitation of his child realized that thereare other parents with children, adults of the same disability. This motivated the parent to mobilize such parents, but also adults of theabove disabilities and begun the organisation as a strategy/voice ofothers for easy advocacy and lobbying for services for Persons withBrain Injury (PWABIs).

The main project objective: “to ensure increased access and retention toformal employment by Persons with Brian Injury” in the labor market.
