Interfaith Learning Circle on Religious norms and Sexual, Gender/Based Violence.
Usawa Inc a grantee partner from Kenya held a conversation at the Baraza Media Lab on Friday the 16th of September 2022 from 8:00 to 11:00 am. The theme of the conversation was Interfaith Learning Circle on Religious norms and Sexual, Gender/Based Violence. The aim of the conversation was to provide a safe space for honest, meaningful, respectful, and sometimes difficult conversations on Religious norms and how this relates to Sexual, Gender/Based Violence. This three (3) hour dialogue provided a peer-to-peer learning platform, designed to catalyze the exchange of ideas, experiences, and expertise among Religious Actors and Feminists in preventing S/GBV against women and LGBTQ+ communities.
