Bridging the intergenerational gap: a report from TICAH in Kenya
Voice grantee, the Trust for Indigenous Culture and Health (TICAH) is working on a project on bridging the intergenerational gap between elderly and youth in the pastoralist Maasai and coastal Mijikenda communities. A year into implementation, what are some of the results thus far? Have the myths about witchcraft (Kaya), land grabbing on the one side already shifted to understanding of the beauty, wisdom and advise that elders (regardless of gender) can bring to their children?
Here is the narrative report from TICAH in the form of a vlog, taking us onto a beautiful journey since the project started in August 2017.
