During a monitoring visit, the Voice Cambodia team traveled deep into some of the remote villages that were most challenging to reach. They visited the rightsholders and community where WWD-LAN and KHEN are working.
On 20th of October 2023, nearly a hundred people gathered in Cheung Prey District Hall, Kampong Cham province for a Public Dialogue on “Economic Opportunities, Careers and Technology for People with Disabilities toward Inclusive and Sustainable Development”, hosted by the Representative of Self-Help Disabilities Organization Batheay (RSDOB).
’I would like for people with disabilities to have an activity or meeting every month,’’ shared Buakham Sonekeo, a Nadee Village Coordinator for Strengthening and Equality of People with Disability and Community Development Project (SEPCoD) led by the People with Disability Development Association or PDDA in Xiengkhuang Province.
