This document contains the key lessons learned from the Knowledge Exchange titled  « Taking Charge, Making Change—Rightsholders Leading Initiatives to Enhance Inclusive Governance » Knowledge Exchange that was organized by Voice, the Coady Institute, and the Emerging Leaders Foundation-Africa (ELF-Africa), on November 21st – 22nd, 2024, in Nairobi, Kenya. This event was part of the « From Open to Inclusive Governance » Initiative co-financed by Voice and the Hewlett Foundation. during this 2-day event participants shared insights and learnings on leveraging local knowledge for responsive interventions, the power of storytelling, lessons on relationship-building, centering the voice of rightsholders in policy processes and sustainability.
