Le changement climatique a un impact \u00e9norme sur la vie humaine et sur notre monde. Si aucune action imm\u00e9diate n’est entreprise, ses effets n\u00e9fastes continueront \u00e0 accro\u00eetre de mani\u00e8re exponentielle dans les ann\u00e9es \u00e0 venir. Alors que l’impact de la crise climatique continue de cro\u00eetre de mani\u00e8re exponentielle, le r\u00f4le des photojournalistes dans la sensibilisation de l’opinion publique s’\u00e9tend \u00e9galement. La crise climatique peut \u00eatre un concept abstrait pour les personnes qui estiment ne pas avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 directement touch\u00e9es par le changement climatique.<\/p>\n

L’exposition photo \u00ab\u00a0Capturer le changement climatique\u00a0\u00bb<\/em><\/strong> pr\u00e9sente des histoires visuelles \u00e9labor\u00e9es par des photographes, quatre tanzaniens et quatre kenyans. Ces histoires visuelles explorent diff\u00e9rents aspects de la crise climatique, de la d\u00e9forestation \u00e0 la demande de charbon de bois, en passant par la vie des communaut\u00e9s de p\u00eacheurs et des \u00e9coliers, radicalement chang\u00e9e par la mont\u00e9e des eaux, la vie urbaine et la faune sauvage. En outre, l’exposition cherche \u00e0 mettre en lumi\u00e8re l’impact de la crise climatique sur les communaut\u00e9s locales au Kenya et en Tanzanie.<\/p>\n

La photographe tanzanienne Rahabu Manyasani parle de l’histoire derri\u00e8re ses images. Celles-ci racontent l’histoire de Fahari Yetu, un groupe de femmes entrepreneurs environnementales bas\u00e9es \u00e0 Dar es Salaam qui produisent des alternatives \u00e9cologiques au charbon de bois, alternatives qui sont bon march\u00e9 et s\u00fbres.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/figure>\n

Les huit photographes sont Calvin Kulaya, Rahabu Manyasani, Imani Nsamila, Michael Mbwambo de Tanzanie, Anthony Ochieng Onyango, Cynthia Maiwa, Billy Miaron et Gordwin Odhiambo du Kenya. Avant l’exposition, et au moment o\u00f9 ils documentaient le changement climatique, les huit photographes talentueux ont \u00e9t\u00e9 s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9s pour participer \u00e0 un mentorat pour le d\u00e9veloppement professionnel de leur pratique visuelle par le photojournaliste n\u00e9erlandais reconnu Kadir van Lohuizen. Les \u0153uvres des huit photographes sont actuellement expos\u00e9es \u00e0 l’Alliance fran\u00e7aise de Dar es Salaam, jusque’au 3 mars 2022, aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s du photojournaliste prim\u00e9 Kadir van Lohuizen. L’exposition de photos a \u00e9t\u00e9 organis\u00e9e conjointement par l’Ambassade du Royaume des Pays-Bas en Tanzanie et NOOR Images, en partenariat avec Voice, SNV, JustDiggit, British Council et l’Alliance Fran\u00e7aise.<\/p>\n
