L&rsquo;histoire de Srey Pich."},"content":{"rendered":"\r\n<p>Par l&rsquo;\u00e9quipe du Cambodge<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Srey Pich, une femme de 26 ans de la province de Kandal, a eu un accident \u00e0 sa naissance qui l&rsquo;a laiss\u00e9e handicap\u00e9e d&rsquo;une jambe. Elle a d\u00fb se d\u00e9placer en fauteuil roulant pour aller d&rsquo;un endroit \u00e0 l&rsquo;autre.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Pendant sa scolarisation, tant \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9cole primaire qu&rsquo;au lyc\u00e9e, elle a connu une s\u00e9rie d&rsquo;accidents \u00e0 la maison, dans les champs, sur le chemin de l&rsquo;\u00e9cole, et partout o\u00f9 elle allait. Le handicap ne l&rsquo;a pas seulement affect\u00e9e physiquement mais aussi mentalement. Elle a souvent \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9courag\u00e9e et sa volont\u00e9 de vivre s&rsquo;est effondr\u00e9e.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Ses \u00e9tudes \u00e9taient souvent interrompues, elle voulait abandonner l&rsquo;\u00e9cole, s&rsquo;isoler et se couper du monde. Heureusement, ses parents ont jou\u00e9 un r\u00f4le important en encourageant Srey Pich \u00e0 aller de l&rsquo;avant et \u00e0 \u00e9tudier, peu importe ce qui se passait autour d&rsquo;elle.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Aujourd&rsquo;hui, Srey Pich a obtenu sa licence et a trouv\u00e9 un emploi important \u00e0 Phnom Penh. Elle a rejoint le Women with Disability Leadership and Advocacy Network WWD-LAD, un partenaire de Voice. Apr\u00e8s avoir rejoint le r\u00e9seau, Srey Pich a remarqu\u00e9 un changement significatif sur elle-m\u00eame.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Elle n&rsquo;\u00e9tait plus la personne timide qui se sentait incapable de faire quoi que ce soit en raison de son handicap. Le r\u00e9seau a \u00e9largi son horizon car elle a fait connaissance avec des personnes compr\u00e9hensives lors des sessions de formation auxquelles elle a particip\u00e9. Elle est \u00e0 jamais reconnaissante pour les exp\u00e9riences et les le\u00e7ons qu&rsquo;elle a tir\u00e9es de WWD-LAD. Srey Pich est plus ouverte, courageuse, sociable, d\u00e9sireuse d&rsquo;apprendre et de s&rsquo;exposer \u00e0 l&rsquo;environnement ext\u00e9rieur.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Maintenant qu&rsquo;elle a sa voix, elle est une source d&rsquo;inspiration pour d&rsquo;autres personnes dans la m\u00eame situation qu&rsquo;elle.\u00a0 Elle travaille non seulement pour elle-m\u00eame, mais aussi pour les personnes en situation de handicap dans les zones rurales.
