Nous avons une histoire sombre li\u00e9e aux pratiques des compagnies mini\u00e8res qui d\u00e9truisent notre nature et notre \u00e9cosyst\u00e8me, qui soutient grandement l’agriculture des gens, sans compter que les zones exploit\u00e9es sont des sites culturels qui ont des liens forts avec le syst\u00e8me de clans et les croyances des peuples indig\u00e8nes de Mollo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mais peu de membres de la jeune g\u00e9n\u00e9ration de Mollo connaissent aujourd’hui les femmes qui se sont battues pour l’environnement et qui, il y a plusieurs d\u00e9cennies, ont r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 chasser les mineurs des terres de Mollo. Ces femmes sacrifient beaucoup de choses dans leur vie : leur famille, leur travail et m\u00eame leur propre s\u00e9curit\u00e9. Elles se sont battues de mani\u00e8re culturelle, en tissant entre les machines \u00e0 tailler la pierre. Mama Lodia, Mama Deci et Mama Anaci ont particip\u00e9 au programme \u00ab\u00a0Being and Becoming Indigenous\u00a0\u00bb, partageant avec la jeune g\u00e9n\u00e9ration leur enthousiasme et leurs histoires inspirantes sur la lutte pour pr\u00e9server la nature et leur identit\u00e9 en tant que femmes et peuples indig\u00e8nes.
